Folic Acid In Your Flour: A Judicial Review?

Common Knowledge intends to explore the potential for a judicial review of the law to impose folic acid in flour produced by large mills. We believe this is another example of the government not permitting the public consent over their health choices. Not only is it non-consensual, but it lies between uninformed consent - few know it is happening - and misinformed consent - there is an attempt to represent folic acid as folate.

There are options open to us to challenge this situation. One of the more promising is to make an application for a judicial review of the law. This is a legal procedure that requires a decision to be made within a set time period and a judgement on its findings to be made public.

We can only apply for a judicial review within a set window of time, and we need support to do so. 

On this Wednesday, we will be taking legal advice and coming to a decision about how we should move forward. We would like our community to help make and support that decision.
